Reporter for Church News
KAITLYN BANCROFT
ABOUT ME
I believe in journalism. In a society that increasingly cries "fake news," I staunchly believe that reporting done right — accurate, balanced and fair — is the lifeblood of a free society. I believe in the good that one journalist can do.

That's why I strive every day to report with tenacity, professionalism and truth. Telling stories that matter isn't just my business, it's my calling.

I am a thorough reporter, a strong writer and I take my deadlines seriously. I have the focus for quick, breaking-news reporting and the patience for the records-finding and research of in-depth reporting. Education, health, crime, faith — I've reported on a little of everything, and I'm a better journalist for it.
Got a tip? Reach out to me on social media or at kbancroft@deseretnews.com. I look forward to telling your story.
